Minecraft 1.21.4 Update

When?

The upcoming 1.21.4 update, scheduled for release on December 3rd, will require generating a new world to have access to the new features. There will be a new biome which means lots of new blocks, items, and a new mob.

The server will update as soon as the necessary mods are available for this version. Fortunately, most of the mods used by our server are regularly maintained and updated, which means we can expect this process to be fairly quick.

Unlike the last update, I will not be waiting for all of my personal mods to update before updating the server despite how much I enjoy the improvements.

What about the old world?

The current world will be trimmed and zipped so I can make it available for download here. There will be a future post about it that will also detail how to use it as a single player world.

How do I join?

The server authenticates with a discord bot on Witch Hill. In order to join, go here and read the pinned post that has instructions for authenticating with the bot. You will need your Minecraft username do the bot can associate your discord account with your Minecraft account.

You will not need any mods to join and play but the server does have some mods that are optional like voice chat, custom audio for horns and records, and armor stand poser for making weird sculptures with armor stands. Mods that are client side only will always work.
